    Rotary St Johns has entered an MoU with KidsCan as the charity of choice to be supported as part of our annual Golf Tournament to be held in March.
    This Tournament will also be supported by The Freightways Group and we are always excited to have the assistance of such an important company within our community.
    This event is certainly a highlight of the St Johns calendar and provides important funding for projects held during the year.

    Showing at Turua Gallery Join us from 5 pm, Friday 15 November to preview Sean’s solo exhibition, "10,000 steps”. His new works explore his morning & evening walks around Glendowie, St Heliers, Kohi and Mission Bay - all within 10,000 steps of Turua Gallery. A pedestrian take on his ongoing “into the heartland” series which explores his road trips throughout our beautiful country. This exhibition will be a treat for those of you who love striking artworks depicting the wonderful area we live, work and play in. Sean is a much-celebrated local artist, of whom many of you will be familiar with his stunning oil paintings, many of which are held in collections both here in NZ as well as internationally.
    This exhibition promises to deliver with pieces of various sizes that connect you with little moments from Sean's daily excursions. Sean's show will then run until Friday 29 November.

    St Heliers ANZAC Day Parade - Cancelled, Music Commemoration on April 27

    "ANZAC parade has been sadly cancelled in St Heliers. This message has come from council due to the advice from the police. St Heliers will still honour our service men and woman who fought and our crosses will be put out. ?????? There will be a service at Orakei RSA. There will also be a music commemoration on April 27 from 10-12 outside ANZ. We will remember them." ------ We wish to honour the veterans who have served, and are still serving. On Anzac Day 25th April, there will be a parade starting at the Vellenoweth green along Tamaki Drive to the intersection at St Heliers Bay road. Followed by a St Heliers Commemorative service at the St Heliers War Memorial on Tamaki Drive. Come and join us in expressing our gratitude and honour for our veterans.

Six Tours, starting all over Auckland and ending at Vellenoweth Green in St Heliers. It will happen on Saturday 9th February, the day before the Ellerslie Classic Car Show There are 6 Tours to Choose From: Each tour will be capped at 40 vehicles. The tours are: TOUR 1 - WEST TOUR d’ELEGANCE 2018 - The tour starts from the car park with twin power pylons opposite the AA office in Westgate Drive (behind the Westgate Shopping Centre) and is around 2 hours on sealed roads via Taupaki, Riverhead, Waimauku, Kumeu, the Waitakere Ranges, Titirangi, Hillsborough, Newmarket and Remuera to St Heliers.
