Judith Lawson is a multimedia artist working in painting and sculpture. Her work reflects her interest in the natural world, environmental degradation and overconsumption and she
often incorporates waste and found materials into her work. She is a resident artist at Arthaus Contemporary Orakei and a member of Re - Use Collective. She has been a finalist in multiple national competitions and her work is held in New Zealand and international collections. She
holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws, Post Grad Dip Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts
(hons) from Elam School of Fine Art University of Auckland.
