Collection: Jody Hope Gibbons

A much-loved New Zealand artist, Jody conjures up stunning contemporary works in her Matakana studio, ranging from abstract painterly to contemporary landscapes and  modern florals and works that are all about surface. Born and bred in the beautiful Northland, Jody has incorporated her family name of 'Hope' Gibbons as her artist signature, to honour the passing of her father. 

Jody explores textures and layers in her art, which is what makes these works so dynamic. Her style is  often bold  and   gestural, bringing her recurring reference back to land into the forefront.
